On 24th November 2008 AST opened its new 1900 square metre training hangar on the Perth airport site. The hangar houses a wide range of training aircraft, engines and associated components, and includes IT enabled classrooms, workshops and student break area.
The official opening was performed by Fiona Hyslop MSP, Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Education.
