For many years the core business of the Air Service Training has been the training of aeronautical maintenance engineers under approvals issued by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, Joint Aviation Authorities, and more recently the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). However, becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Perth College UHI in 1996, has developed a partnership that has seen the development of academic awards at National Qualification, Higher National Certificate, Higher National Diploma and Batchelor of Science Degree level in Aeronautical Engineering.
Such is the strength of this partnership that many of the academic awards are offered in conjunction with the Approved IR Part 66 course, as a jointly delivered programme. The partnership between Perth College UHI and AST is unique amongst training providers serving the air transport industry, and provides innovative training solutions for all of the industries needs, and this innovation will continue in both academic and approved courses.
The strength of the Perth Group lies in its corporate view of aeronautical training provision, and the desire to give each party full and free access to the others training provision, in programmes that provide added value to any basic course.
Air Service Training are pleased to announce the release of the modular course programme and Exams Schedule for 2012.
